Meet Pastor Jessica
Pastor Jessica is the founder and president of Girl Power Ministry.
She is a wife to Pastor Robert Kayanja whom she fondly refers to as her bishop and mentor.She is mother to three wonderful children and a role model for many young ladies.
Pastor Jessica featured as Uganda’s second most influential woman of 2005 by Uganda’s leading daily.

She has successfully hosted 7 Girl Power local and international conferences with an attendance of 5000 – 10000 Pastor Jessica is also a pastor at the Miracle Center Cathedral in Rubaga. View Gallery
On being a Woman
“I love being a woman and everything that goes along with it. I hold being married in high esteem: I love to look beautiful beside the man God gave me. I love to cook, keep house and take care of my beautiful children.”
Girl Power
On Style, fashion and Presentation. Beauty and adornment are true and effective tools that can be used for God’s glory. When God made man, he gave each of us a unique package. Furthermore our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. To look stylish and trendy is not ungodly provided one does not resort to indecent exposure. Maintaining beauty takes time, preparation, healthy feeding habits and good rest.

On ministry and Work
“Father I present myself as a vessel willing to be used of you…” I daily consecrate my life and ministry to God. I believe in submitting to those in authority over me, being polite and diligent. A woman in ministry must be a great intercessor, the fruit of the spirit must emanate from her. She ought to be a woman of love, her heart filled with joy, patient, and under perfect control. readmore

Proverbs 31 is the best guide to the woman’s finances. It highlights that a woman should not be a spendthrift or a gold digger. She should be conscientious, making wise investment choices. On Marriage

The first ministry ever given to women was marriage. The greatest spiritual help that you can ever give your husband is unconditional agreement. The husband is the head of the house and as a wife you should submit to his direction.
Quit nagging and complaining and resort to prayer in times of disagreement. |
Whatever you place at the feet of Jesus in Prayer, will not be exaggerated, gossiped about or blown out of proportion.
On Bringing up Children |

“I constantly remind my children that I am there mother not their buddy.”
God has charged me with a special responsibility to bring up children in the fear and ways of God and well groomed in etiquette.
