Magnetic Woman
The Magnetic Woman Prayer Breakfast was probably the first ever inter-denominational gathering of women in Uganda.
It was a resounding success with 3000 ladies in attendance.

The ladies braved the heavy downpour of rain that had lasted more than six hours that morning, to gather as one, in a beautiful tent at the miracle center cathedral grounds. The meeting united mothers, daughters and sisters from all walks of life and from different Christians Denominations.
The unity was awesome to behold as the women forgot their differences and worshipped God together. This unity birthed right from the start, has been a distinguishing feature of all Girl Power Meetings ever since, with age, tribe and denominational barriers of no consequence as ladies fellowshipped together.

Pastor Jessica as the keynote speaker at this meeting reiterated the call to unity, as a sure means to overcome the issues that face women around the world.
She uniquely portrayed Jesus’ journey between two separates generations of women; Jairus’ daughter and the woman with the issue of blood; and his adequate response to each of their needs. |
In this story in Luke chapter 8, Jesus displayed his deep affection for all manner of women and his ability to restore hope and bring to life their shattered dreams.
At end of the conference the message of hope and restoration reverberated through the day and an acknowledgement that God in fashioning women had placed within each of them an internal magnet that is a powerful soul winning tool.
The special Girl Power Award went to queen best Kemigisa of the Toro Kingdom, in Uganda in recognition of her role in bringing up the youngest king in the world, who was orphaned at the age of three.
